Funeral services will be held 9AM on Saturday, November 4, 2006 from the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne then to Saint Marys RC Church, Pompton Lakes where at 10:30 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, November 3, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Alexandre S. Mouravieff age 59 of Kinnelon died Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at the Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover while surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born in Paris, France and came to this country in 1955 settling in Cedar Grove having lived in Pompton Lakes and Wayne before moving to Kinnelon sixteen years ago.
Mr. Mouravieff was self-employed in the technology industry for the past thirty years.
He was a parishioner of Saint Marys RC Church, Pompton Lakes.
Alex graduated from Memorial High School, Cedar Grove with the class of 1965. He went on to receive his bachelor of arts degree in Russian Literature from the University of Connecticut with the class of 1969.
A generous, congenial humorous person; he will always be remembered for his culinary expertise, sailing, carving and scrimshaw.
Beloved husband of of twenty-eight years to Grayce Mouravieff(nee Pellegrino); devoted son of Serge and Ann Mouravieff of Saddle River; loving brother of Pierre Mouravieff and his wife Laura of Edmond, OK, Michel Mouravieff DMD and his wife Linda of Ridgewood, George Mouravieff and his wife Tania of Washington Township and Paul Mouravieff and his wife Julie of Princeton; much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews; cherished and loved by his faithful Shih-Tzu - Angel.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Market Street Mission, 9 Market Street, Morristown, NJ 07960 or the Saint Marys Food Pantry, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442 would be appreciated.
