Family and friends are invited to join in a memorial mass to celebrate her life on Sunday, July 8th at 5:00 pm at the Cedar Crest Chapel at Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains.
Amelia De Lauro, 94, of Pompton Plains passed away June 29, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Albert De Lauro. Loving mother of Albert A. De Lauro of San Antonio, TX and Mark De Lauro of Franklin Lakes, and their respective spouses Claire and Elizabeth. She is survived by her dear sister in law, Mary Brotons and many beloved nephews and nieces. Mrs. De Lauro was a language educator and department chair of the Paramus High School Foreign Language Dept. where she also was a resident for many years. She will be fondly remembered by her students and colleagues. She held her B.A. from NYU and her Masters in Education from Montclair State University.
