Services
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 2, 2006 at 9 AM from the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne then to Our Lady of the Valley RC Church, Wayne where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.
Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2-6 PM.
Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
Angela Collucci (nee Costa) age 54 of Wayne passed away Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Wayne due to complications from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease) diagnosed on September 30, 2002. At her passing she was receiving the loving care of her daughter’s Venessa and Laura.
She was born in Corleone, Sicily, Italy having come to this country at the age of eleven settling in Brooklyn, NY later living in Passaic and Clifton before moving to Wayne thirteen years ago.
Before her diagnosis, Angela was a Customer Sales Representative for the PNC Bank, Wayne for thirty years.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley RC Church, Wayne.
Angela will always be remembered as a dedicated mother who was always there for her children. She was a very considerate person who always went “above and beyond” at work. She had a wonderful personality that reached out to others in the form of love and caring.
Surviving are two daughters Venessa Maria and Laura Angela Collucci both of Wayne; two brothers Vincent Costa of Elmwood Park and Joseph Costa of Fair Lawn; and her Mother Giovanna Costa of Clifton.
