Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, September 9, 2007 from 5-7 PM and Monday, September 10, 2007 from 2-4, 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held 9:15 AM on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 from the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne then to Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church, Wayne where at 10:30 a Funeral Mass will be offered.
Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.
Antoinette Bolcato (nee Verrico) age 90 of Wayne died Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock with family by her side.
She was born and raised in Newark having lived in Belleville before moving to Wayne twenty-six years ago.
Mrs. Bolcato was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church, Wayne.
Antoinette was a loving and caring mother who enjoyed crocheting. She was an accomplished seamstress who made clothes and draperies for herself and family but most she will be remembered as a great cook. In fact her recipes for Minestrone Soup and Clam Chowder were so delightful and especially popular via test marketing with friends and relatives that serious consideration was given to marketing her products commercially.
She was predeceased by her husband of fifty-nine years Anthony J. Bolcato(1999); a daughter Connie Barile(May/2007), a granddaughter Cheryl A. Fredericks(2004), two sisters and three brothers, and a daughter-in-law Mary Ann Bolcato(1999).
Beloved mother of Lucy Zozzaro and John of Wayne, William Bolcato and Ginny of Estero, FL, Louis Bolcato and Joann of Naples, FL, Marlene Fredericks and Tom of Bloomingdale and Annette Bolcato of Wayne; loving mother-in-law to Frank Barile of Mt Arlington; cherished grandmother of sixteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Cheryl A. Fredericks Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o NJSO of Cystic Fibrosis, PO Box 3648, Wayne, NJ 07470 would be appreciated.
