Beverly Liva, 87, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026.

Beverly grew in Rutherford, NJ as one of four children to Robert and Frances Kelly. Raised on the Passaic River, she loved family boating trips with her family to Lake Champlain and weekend trips visiting cousins in upstate NY.

She went on to build a family of her own, marrying George Kuiper and raising her beloved children: Keith, Julie, Robert, and Neil. Beverly devoted herself to caring for her family and her household. After George’s untimely passing, Beverly found love again in Ted, and together they made their home in Lyndhurst, where she would spend many happy years.

Few things brought Beverly more joy than the holidays. She embraced every season with a passion and enthusiasm that was contagious. Beverly loved to decorate for the holidays and create the magic for her family so that they were each as meaningful as possible. She also had a love for collecting dolls, whose simplicity and gentleness mirrored her own spirit.

In her later years, her nieces Jennifer and Colleen became a constant and cherished presence in her life as they spent a great amount of time with her. Her family was a great source of strength for Beverly, and they will miss her dearly.

What those who knew Beverly will remember most about her is her giving and sharing nature. Whether it was sharing a snack with a stranger or offering them something she had, Beverly’s generosity knew no bounds. She never asked for anything in return and gave simply because she enjoyed the happiness it brought to others.

Beverly is predeceased by her parents Robert and Frances, her son Keith, her siblings Roberta and Kent, and her husbands’ George and Ted.

She is survived by her sister Audrey, her children Julie, Robert, and Neil; and her grandchildren Steven, Ariel, and Kayla.
