Services
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 9 AM from the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne then to Saint Leon Armenian Church, 12-61 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn where at 10 AM a Funeral Service will be held.
Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4, 7-9 PM.
Betty Amregian (nee Semonian) age 75 of Manchester Township on Saturday, October 20, 2007. Her passing was quiet and peaceful while receiving the loving care of her family who were at her bedside.
She was born in Bloomfield and lived through her formative years there later living in Wayne for thirty-seven years before moving to Manchester Township eleven years ago.
Betty received her formal education first at Bloomfield Grammar School and then at Bloomfield High School graduating with the Class of 1949.
She was a member of Saint Leon Armenian Church in Fair Lawn and God’s Eternal Universal Religion in Redondo Beach, California.
Betty leaves her family with many wonderful memories of a very loving and devoted Mother who was always very generous, caring and very protective.
George and Betty Amregian had forty-nine years of “lovingly complimentary and devoted” marriage together until George’s passing in June of 2004.
Surviving are one son Paul Amregian and his wife Joann of Wayne; one daughter Shanti Friend of Redondo Beach, California; one brother Jack Semonian of Rio Rico, Arizona and a cherished granddaughter Amanda Amregian.
