Corrine Albanese (nee Bevacqua) age 75 of Wayne died Monday, October 9, 2006 at the Saint Joseph’s Wayne Hospital in Wayne.
She was born and raised in Mount Vernon, New York and had lived in Clifton before moving to Wayne fifty years ago.
Her hobbies included cooking, reading and golf. Corrine loved spending her winters in Boca Raton, FL. Perhaps the highlight of her life was the arrival of grandchildren whom she adored. She especially loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
With Corrine’s passing the New York Giants have now lost the number one fan and several Atlantic City casinos will have to close their doors without her frequenting their slots.
Beloved wife of fifty-four years to Joseph Albanese; loving mother of Marilyn Webb, Joseph Albanese Jr and his wife Linda, Peter Albanese and his wife Lisa all of Wayne; sister of the late Roger Bevacqua; step-sister of Raymond and Robert DelVecchio, Rita DelPizzo, Norma Iannucci; cherished grandmother of Kari and Gary Webb Jr, Joseph III, Michele, Peter, Kyle and Leighann Albanese.
