Services
Funeral services will be held 8:30 AM on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 from the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne then to Our Lady of the Valley RC Church, Wayne where at 9:30 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, October 1, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
Doris Simet age 82 of Wayne died Thursday, September 27, 2007 at home receiving the loving care of her family.
She was born and raised in Paterson and has lived in Wayne for the past fifty-one years.
Doris graduated from Saint Johns High School, Paterson with the class of 1942.
She was a secretary for the Wayne Board of Education for over twenty years having worked at the George Washington Junior High School her entire career.
Beloved wife of fifty-eight years to Raymond Simet; loving mother of Mary Ann Simet and her boyfriend Andrew Bruno, Jr. of Park Ridge, Joanne Higgins and her husband George of Wayne, Amy Simet of Wayne, Richard Simet and his wife Claudia of Franklin, Laura Wetzel and her husband Glenn of Branchburg, and Elizabeth Simet and her husband Gary Ludwig of West Glacier, MT; cherished grandmother of Kevin and Colleen Higgins and Christopher and Brian Wetzel.
Memorial donations can be made to the St. Jude Childrens’ Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
