Services
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 9 AM from the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne then to Our Lady of Consolation RC Church, Wayne where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.
Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4, 7-9 PM.
Eleanore “Elly” Kostick (nee Jablonski) age 77 of Wayne died Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Atrium Health Care Center in Wayne. Her passing was quiet and peaceful while she was receiving the love and care of her family who were at her bedside.
She was born in Passaic and had lived her formative years in Wallington later living in Clifton before moving to Wayne forty-seven years ago.
Eleanore received her formal education at Lodi High School graduating with the Class of 1948.
Elly was self employed and ran her own business known as Eljude Jewelers in Wayne.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Consolation RC Church in Wayne.
She leaves her family with fond memories of a devoted and loving mother.
George and Eleanore had forty-seven years of “loving marriage” together until George’s passing in September 2000.
Surviving are one daughter Debra DeAngelo of Pequannock; two sons John Kostick of Pequannock and George Kostick III of Wayne; four grandchildren David and Brian Kostick and Gina and Nicholas DeAngelo; five great grandchildren Dylan, Taylor, Justin, Danielle, Amber and Joseph.
