Funeral services will be held 9 AM Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, November 2, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
Elise M. Tanis age 48 died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the Kindred Care Hospice, Dover.
She was born in Paterson and was raised in Wayne having lived in Pittstown and Keasby before moving to Dover three years ago.
Elise was a member of the Netherland Reformed Congregation, Franklin Lakes.
Loving sister of Cornelius “Casey” Tanis of Bloomingdale, Joleen McKinstry and her husband Richard of Bloomingdale, the late Johannes Tanis(2000) and the late James Tanis(2006); cherished aunt of Shawn, Lindsay, Ryan and Patience McKinstry; special cousin of Dave and Cindy den Hollander and family.
