Services
Funeral services will be held 10 AM on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, October 11, 2007 from 2-4, 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson.
Frances E. Zank (nee Cooper,Monroe) age 81, on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 of Wayne. She was born and raised in Paterson having lived in Wayne for the past fifty-five years.
Before retiring Fran worked for the Wayne Fire Bureau and had previously been a dental receptionist for Drs. Pinto & Ranieri in Wayne.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the John Raad Post 438 of the American Legion, Paterson and a past-president of the Passaic County Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion.
Fran will be remembered as an outgoing, loving person who was always laughing. Her grandchildren, who lived next door, have many fond memories. One memory that stands out is eating spaghetti by grandma’s. The grandchildren were always sneaking over to her house, being spoiled by her cooking, then returning home with no appetite for dinner.
Beloved wife of thirty-six years to the late Arnold J. Zank(1982); loving mother of Gale F. Delaney and her husband Joseph of Wayne; cherished grandmother of Lisa Marie and Michael Delaney both of Wayne and John Delaney and his wife Fallon of Franklin Lakes. Beloved daughter of the late Julia and Roy Monroe.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Eva's Village, 393 Main St., Paterson, New Jersey 07501 would be appreciated.
