Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 2-4, 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Frank DeSena age 55 of Wayne died tragically on Friday, November 2, 2007 in New York City.
He was born in the Ozone Park section of Queen, NY and was raised in Queens, NY having lived in Manhattan, NY and the Park Slope section of Brooklyn before moving to Wayne thirteen years ago.
Frank graduated from the Bishop Laughlin High School, Brooklyn, NY with the class of 1970 and went on to Queens College, Queens, NY where he received his bachelor of arts degree in Sociology with the class of 1974. He continued his education at New York University where he received his Masters of Business Administration degree. He then graduated from the City University of New York, Graduate Center where he received his masters degree in philosophy having also graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ where he received his masters degree in computer science.
Before his career as a stay-at-home father began in 1995, he was an economic forecaster for the AT&T Corporation, Basking Ridge for nine years.
Frank was an avid New York Yankees fan and was also a vintage movie buff.
Loving husband of twenty-two years to Kristine Jones; devoted father of Sean DeSena of Wayne and much loved by several nieces, nephews and the “Birthday Club”.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, PO Box 845259, Boston, MA 02284-5259 would be appreciated.
