A memorial service will be offered at 10AM on Saturday May 5th, 2012 at Our Lady of the Valley RC Church, 630 Valley Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470.
Gladys I. McGuire age 87 of Wayne passed away on Monday April 23, 2012 at Hospice of NJ in St Joseph’s Wayne Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Gladys was born in Brooklyn ,NY and lived in South Orange, NJ before moving to Wayne over 50 years ago. She was a Records Clerk for the Wayne police Dept for over 25 years until her retirement 25 years ago. Gladys was also a parishioner of Our lady of the Valley RC church in Wayne.
She cherished 54 years of marriage with her late husband Thomas McGuire who passed away in August of 2000. She was a dedicated wife and mother and always made time for her family which was the most important thing in her life. Her family remembers her “cooking constantly for everyone all the time”.
Gladys is survived by her daughter Erin Hobaugh of Pompton lakes and her husband Bruce, two granddaughters Colleen and Courtney Hobaugh both of Pompton Lakes, and five cousins Charles Conry, Kenny Conry, mary Malhin, Kathleen Walsh, and Patty Boyle.
