A memorial Mass will be held 10 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Church, 630 Valley Rd., Wayne on Friday, October 16, 2009.
Helen R. Sepede, age 90, of Wayne, passed into eternal life on Tuesday, October 13, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her brother Frank Sepede and sister Juliette Smith.
Helen was born in Garfield on March 18, 1919. She devoted her life to helping others through the nursing profession, most notably 28 years of service at the North Jersey Developmental Center in Totowa, NJ.
In her later years she embraced and supported the volunteer work of her sister and niece with the Friends of Wayne Animals (FOWA).
To her, family was everything and she leaves behind her remaining sibling, Martha Sepede, nieces Mary and Jane Sepede and Linda and Barbara Smith, nephew Joseph Sepede and wife, Kathy and great nephews Michael and John Sepede.
Donations can be made in her name to FOWA, PO Box 3701, Wayne, NJ 07470 or a charity of your choice.
