James Patrick Manning age 76 of Ogdensburg, formerly of Wayne, died Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at the Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown.
He was born in Morristown and lived in Wayne for forty years having lived in Palm Bay, FL before moving to Ogdensburg last year.
Mr. Manning was a section supervisor for the Ciba Geigy Corporation, Suffern, NY for over thirty years having retired in 1990.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Manning enjoyed watching his granddaughter play basketball, fishing, was an avid marksman and loved watching boxing on Friday nights.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-two years Gloria (nee DeBellonia) Manning; one daughter Lisa Gloria VerHage and her husband David and his granddaughter Marisa Lee VerHage all of Ogdensburg; he was predeceased by his parents William Henry and Ann (nee Reilly) Manning and one sister Anne Manning.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Carol Simon Cancer Center, c/o Morristown Memorial Hospital, 100 Madison Avenue, Morristown, NJ 07962 would be appreciated.
