Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 2007 at 9:45 AM from the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne then to St. James RC Church, Totowa, NJ where at 10:45 AM a Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 2:00 until 4:00, and from 7:00 until 9:00PM.
Jean Marie Piccione (nee Mingione) formerly of Paterson, NJ died Monday, October 29, 2007 at her home in Brick, NJ.
Born December 2, 1927, the only child of Frank and Julia Elizabeth (nee Hart) Mingione, she was raised in the Hillcrest section of the city. After her marriage to Joseph John Piccione, an executive of the Bendix Corporation, she made her residence in Totowa. A devoted wife, and loving mother, she created a warm and gracious home for her family, and their friends. She and her husband retired to the coast of New Jersey in 1992.
Possessing profound faith, she was a long time, and active member of St Marys RC church in Paterson and an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, as well as an officer in the Rosary Alter Society. She was more recently a communicant of St. Dominics Church in Brick, NJ.
She was predeceased by her husband after 55 years of marriage; she is greatly loved and dearly missed by their three sons Russell of New York City, and Shelter Island, New York, Ronald Hart and his partner David Enloe of New York City, and Deer Isle, Maine, and Joseph John Jr. and his wife Nancy(nee Myers) with their children: Francesca, Giuliana, and Joseph John III, all of Metamora, Illinois.
