Funeral services will be held Friday, September 29, 2006 at 8:30 AM from the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne then Our Lady of The Valley RC Church, Wayne where at 9 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.
Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 7:30 to 8:30 AM.
Jean Pulice (nee Caiola) on Saturday, September 23, 2006 of Lynchburg, Virginia at the Lynchburg Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. At her passing she was receiving the love and care of her wonderful friend Dee who provided her with caring and comfort at her bedside.
She was born in New York City and had lived in Bronx, NY, Milford, Pennsylvania and Wayne before moving to Lynchburg, Virginia.
Jean was a devoted wife and cherished forty years of a loving marriage to her late husband Frank who passed away in 1984.
Mrs. Pulice was a Buyer for Thrift House Textiles in New York City for forty years before her retirement in 1982.
Jean was a devoted Catholic who held her faith in God above all things. She would often be found at Our Lady of The Valley RC Church attending Mass on a daily basis. Jean did not have children but she was very family oriented and shared love and caring for her nieces and nephews as if they were her children.
Within her personality she had a gift of warmth and caring and was not above using her wonderful cooking and baking skills to win your heart. Her family remembers with genuine admiration and appreciation how aunt Jean made holidays special with her special recipes.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews who were thought of and treated by aunt Jean as her children.
