Jennie J. Radische (nee DeMarco-Walsh) age 93 of Wayne died Monday, September 18, 2006 at Saint Joseph’s Wayne Hospital. She died quietly and peacefully while receiving the loving care of her family at her bedside.

She was born in Jersey City and had lived in Freehold before moving to Wayne two and one half years ago.

Mrs. Radische was a Seamstress for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union for twenty-five years before her retirement in 1976. She received Life Membership in the Union.

She was a member of the Freehold Independent Fire Company #1 Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Fifty Plus Club, and Wayne Golden Age Circle.

Jennie had several hobbies including wonderful cooking, knitting, Crocheting and her absolute favorite “shopping till dropping”.

She had a reach out to others personality that caused her to constantly reach out to others to take care of their needs.

Her family recalls with warm memories Mom’s dedication of love as a mother, aunt and sister. The celebration milestone of her ninetieth birthday party and her joy when she went to California for Jaime’s wedding.

Surviving are one daughter Jaime Gould and her husband Wayne of Dana Point, California, one sister Eleanor Velardi and her husband Gregory of Wayne; nieces and nephews including Frank Velardi, Gillian Velardi, Gregory Velardi Jr., Laurie Velardi all of Wayne, Anthony and Dana Trapozzano of Florida; great nieces and nephews Timothy, Paul and Robert Velardi.

She was predeceased by her first husband Anthony Walsh in 1957, her second husband Joseph Radische in 1980, her brothers Paul De Marco in 1982 and Joseph DeMarco in 1993, a sister Jean Trapozzano in 1998 and a nephew Joseph DeMarco in 2000.
