Visitation will be on Monday, June 3, 2019, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home in Wayne. Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 1799 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne, NJ, where she was a founding member.
Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson, NJ.
Joan F. Springwaldt (nee Fallon) passed peacefully into eternal life on May 30.
She was born in Paterson, raised in Hawthorne, and moved to Wayne after meeting and marrying Otto Springwaldt, the love of her life. She was predeceased by her son Richard and is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Gibbons and her husband Brad, daughter-in-law Debbie Springwaldt, grandsons Richard (Anna), Christopher (Lauren), and Ryan (Lisa), granddaughter Jennifer Beebe (Tom), and great-grandchildren Michael, Amanda, Ashley, Alyssa, Julia, Aliya, Calvin, June, Sophia and Andrew. She adored her family and treasured them being part of her life.
