Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 12 Noon at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne.
Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM to 12 Noon.
John P. Husseyn age 60 of Wayne died Monday, October 30, 2006 at the Robert Woods Johnson University Hospital in Rahway. His passing was sudden and unexpected.
He was born in West Germany came to this country with his parents in 1957 settling in Paterson later moving to Wayne where he lived for a time then moving to Sebastopol, California before moving back to Wayne six years ago.
He received his formal education at Paterson Technical High School, then at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark and later at Middle State University, Tennessee where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
He was employed at EBI Medical-Biomet Corporation in Parsippany.
Mr. Husseyn was a Technical Machinist and an expert in making human prosthesis devices used in human replacements in skeletal surgery.
John loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping in the woods, roughing it and going fishing. He was always smiling and of good humor even throughout life’s difficult times. John will always be remembered as a very knowledgeable conversationalist on many subjects. He also was a very spirited person and often took on challenges in a very spontaneous manner.
Surviving are one son Alexander Husseyn of Roxbury; one daughter Sasha Husseyn of Sebastopol, California; his mother Nina Husseyn of Wayne; one brother Adil Husseyn and his wife Karen of North Prairie, Wisconsin; two sisters Tamella Hassell and her husband K.J. of Mount Olive and Laila Farnow and her husband Richard of Chatham.
His father Mamed Husseyn predeceased him in March of 2006.
