He had several strokes and on September 13th, 2006 he suffered a major stroke and from that point on his health just faded. Finally on Saturday he passed away quietly and peacefully into eternal life.

He leaves his family with many fond memories of a dedicated and loving family man. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was always there for his family. Dad often arranged vacations for the whole family and one memorable vacation of several weeks was a car trip to California via a Southerly route and returning home by way of a Northern route.
John was a man of many talents who could fix cars, do plumbing, electrical work and build. He was always enthusiastically offering his services to his sons to help them with their personal projects.
