Services
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2007 at 9 AM from the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne then to Our Lady of Consolation RC Church, Wayne where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.
Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4, 7-9 PM.
Josephine Ann Commarato “Jo” (nee DiCarlo) age 84 of Wayne on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. She passed away quietly and peacefully while receiving the loving care of her family who where at her bedside.
She was born in Montclair and had lived in Clifton for fifty years later moving to Toms River where she lived for five years before moving to Wayne one year ago.
While living in Clifton she was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church and in Wayne at Our Lady of Consolation RC Church.
Jo enjoyed hobbies of knitting, crocheting and was an avid reader of medical literature giving her a substantial knowledge of the medical field.
Sebastian affectionately know as Buster and Josephine had fifty-nine years of “unconditional love that was a committed in faithful” marriage together.
Sebastian and Josephine were wonderful dancers and the names of Ginger Rogers and Frank Sinatra where folk heroes to their dance floor days.
She leaves her family with wonderful memories of a very devoted wife and mother. Josephine lived her Roman Catholic faith coupled with her selfless outgoing personality by always reaching out to other’s in their time of need.
