June was born and raised in Paterson. She was the loving daughter of the late Michael and Elvira (Severini) Carafella.
June was a graduate of Passaic Valley High School in Little Falls. She furthered her education in business school and worked outside of her home until marriage at age 19. June was an avid golfer who loved to travel to various locations across the country playing with her second husband and favorite golf partner, Roy. Above all, her favorite and most cherished activity was spending time gathered with her children, grandchildren, and new baby great-granddaughter.
June was the loving mother of Philip Martucci and wife Lisa of Pompton Plains, Lisa Laputka and husband John of Allentown, PA, and Paul Martucci and wife Rhonda of Parsippany; cherished grandmother of John, Jr., Jennifer, Jodi, Danielle, Gina, Michael, and Anthony; adoring great-grandmother of Nola; dear sister of the late Diane Gley and the late Carolee Conklin; dear sister-in-law of the late Paul Gley, and George Conklin of Kinnelon; and dear aunt if Kelly, Paul, Heather, Dawn & Russell; dear great aunt to many nieces and nephews. June was predeceased by her first husband and father of her children Philip R. Martucci in 2008 and second husband Roy Blake who gave her 13 years of happiness until his death in 2019.
