Friends and family are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 10 – 11 AM at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne. At 11 AM a Funeral Service will be officiated by Fr. Daniel Kelly.
Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
Madeline C. Neitz (nee Tonkin) age 64 of Wayne died Wednesday, June 6, 2012.
She was born in East Orange, to Frederick and Claire (McNeill) Tonkin, and lived in the Packanack Lake Section of Wayne having graduated from Wayne Valley High School with the Class of 1966. She also lived in Dover Pennsylvania, West Milford, Wayne, and Little Falls before moving to Haskell.
Madeline was an Administrative Assistant having worked for Calvin Klein in Wayne and Creative Sales in Lincoln Park before retiring in 2010.
She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and was an avid reader.
Madeline attended Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church in Wayne.
She was the loving mother of Richard “Rick” P. Neitz of Sugar Land, Texas, Jennifer A. Neitz of Passaic, and the late Michael Neitz (1990); she was the loved grandmother of Connor Neitz, Nicole Neitz, and the late Robert Neitz; she was the sister of Ferderick Tonkin of Pompton Plains and the late Patricia Odierno (2002).
