Friends may visit with the family at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne, on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 4-7 PM.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the funeral home, followed by burial at the Laurel Grove Memorial Park Cemetery in Totowa.
Margaret Bogle (nee Chirico), age 86 and a resident of Wayne for fifty seven years, died peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.
She grew up in Lyndhurst, NJ, graduating high school in 1945. She married William Bogle in 1950 and in 1957 they settled in Wayne. They had a loving marriage for 41 years, sharing their love for gardening, nature, photography and family. "Marge's" greatest loves were her husband, children and grandchildren. She was always baking, cooking, knitting and putting others before herself. Her waffles, carrots and "Marge's saltine, chocolate, nut cookies were a family favorite. Her lovely blue eyes were always smiling!
Margaret is survived by her three children; Susan Revella and her husband Nicholas of E. Stroudsburg, PA, Linda Malinoski and her husband, James of Port Charlotte, FL, and John Bogle and Maryann Skaflestad of Pompton Plains, four grandchildren; Brittany Bogle of Sparta, Danielle Gonabe and her husband, Matthew of Kauai, Hawaii, Michael Malinoski of FL, and Christine Williams and her husband, Michael of FL, three great-grandchildren; Blake and Kyle Williams and Ava Kate Gonabe, two brothers, Richard Chirico and his wife, Betty of Roseberg, OR, and Anthony Chirico of Bat Cave, NC., and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son William Jr. in 1979 and by her husband William Sr. in 1991.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 would be greatly appreciated.
