Services
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 7, 2007 at 10 AM at Saint Michael’s Episcopal Church, 1219 Ratzer Road, Wayne.
Friends may visit with the family at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne Thursday from 2-5 PM.
Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.
Mary Beth Dutko of Wayne died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson. She passed away quietly and peacefully after a courageous battle with her health. Her passing took place while she was receiving the loving care of her family who where at her bedside.
In her autumn days of declining health Mary Beth expressed the desire to go home and we can be assured that, she is home, God has her in his arms this day.
She was born in Paterson and had lived in Wayne all of her life.
Mary Beth received her formal education at Wayne Hills High School graduating with the Class of 1974.
She had many battles with her health which included several serious surgeries. Within her family she was a very special soul who needed very special love and caring which her family provided.
She was a member of Saint Michael’s Episcopal Church in Wayne.
She also received much support and dedication of Christian love and caring from the Women’s Group of Saint Michaels Episcopal Church. Remembering their special contributions to Mary Beth’s life it is appropriate to come forth with this special quotation: “you can tell we are Christians by our love”. Mary Beth much appreciated that kindness these ladies brought into her life.
Surviving are her Mother Hope (nee Kosachook) Dutko of Framingham, Massachusetts, her father Michael J. Dutko of Wayne; one sister Barbara Jean Dutko of Milford, Massachusetts; she is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Saint Michaels Episcopal Church, 1219 Ratzer Road, Wayne, NJ 07470 would be appreciated.
