Funeral Services will be held 10AM on Wednesday October 11, 2006 at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Rd, Wayne, NJ.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday at the Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9PM.
Interment will be at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton, NJ.
Maryann P. Kovatch (nee Zampacorta) age 64 of Wayne died on Sunday October 8, 2006 at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pequannock.
Maryann was born in Hackensack, was raised in East Rutherford and lived in Clifton and Butler before moving to Wayne 20 years ago.
She cherished 47 years of her loving marriage to her husband John “Jack” and was a devoted mother to her four children, much loved daughter of Evelyn Birdsall and the late Joseph Zampacorta, and a loving grandmother to her five grandchildren.
Her family remembers her as having great wit and being well liked by everyone.
Surviving are her husband John “Jack” Kovatch of 47 years, two daughters Margie Kovatch of Wantage and Jacqueline Tinney of Montville; two sons Michael of Hewitt, and John E of Wayne; two brothers Robert Birdsall of Lafayette and Jack Birdsall of Franklin; and Five Grandchildren Bobby, Kristie, Jason, Rickey, and Nicholas.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Maryann’s name to the American Cancer Society 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 would be appreciated.
