Michele Adamo passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 3, 2026.
Born in Quebec, Canada, Michele was the daughter of Lucienne Morrissette and John Charland. Although her family moved frequently throughout her childhood, she spent her early years in the Eastern Townships region near Sherbrooke. Michele was the eldest of five children and shared a close bond with her siblings: Nicole (Roland), Lyse (Paul), Daniele (Paul), and Jean (Nicole).
As a young woman, Michele worked at a hotel in Lake Brompton, Quebec, where she met the love of her life, Angelo. Their journey and love story took off from there, after marrying they moved to New Jersey to build a life together. Michele and Angelo worked tirelessly to create a home and future for their family. They acquired the land on Adams Road where they would establish their family home. Michele often shared stories of those early days and took great pride in all that they accomplished through determination, sacrifice, and love.
Known for her strong work ethic, Michele dedicated herself to both her family and her career. She worked as an administrative assistant at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, where she was respected for her professionalism, kindness, and commitment to helping others.
Michele and Angelo were blessed with two children, Shawn and Mona-Lisa. Family was always at the center of Michele’s life. She found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved and was especially proud of her grandchildren, Angelo (Emma) and Jason. Whether sharing family stories, celebrating special occasions, or simply spending time together, she created memories that will be cherished for generations.
As the oldest of five children, Michele was a source of strength, wisdom, and guidance. She will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, perseverance, and unwavering love for her family. She faced life’s joys and challenges with grace and determination, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Michele was predeceased by her beloved husband, Angelo, and her beautiful daughter, Mona-Lisa. She is survived by her son, Shawn; her grandchildren, Angelo (Emma) and Jason.
