Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held 9:30 AM on Friday, September 22, 2006 from the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne then to Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church, Wayne where at 10:30 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.
Michele “Mimi” Haobsh age 47 of Wayne died Monday, September 18, 2006, while receiving the loving care of her family, after a six year battle with cancer.
Michele was born in Paterson and lived in Fair Lawn, Wayne and North Haledon before returning to Wayne twelve years ago.
She graduated from Wayne Hills High School, Wayne with the class of 1977. She attended Montclair State University, Montclair for one year.
Michele, being a dedicated mother, was involved with the AP Terhune and the Schuyler Colfax PTO's, Wayne. She could also be found volunteering her time for the Wayne P.A.L. basketball and bingo programs, and at the sidelines of her children's soccer games enthusiastically cheering on her children.
Michele had a loving, devoted and best friend marriage to Marwan Haobsh for eighteen years; she is the loving mother of Zade and Zana Haobsh both of Wayne; devoted daughter of Georgette (nee Farhart) Deraney of Wayne and the late Henry Deraney, Sr.(2002); much loved sister of Hank Deraney, Jr. and his wife Debra of Pompton Lakes and the late Robert Deraney(Sept. 11, 2001) and loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the “The Valley Hospital Foundation” 223 N. Van Dien Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 07450 would be appreciated.
