Friends may visit with the family at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne, on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Redeemer Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.
Patricia Lynn DiPadova (nee Scine), age 53 of Wayne, left this earth peacefully, on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at home with her family by her side.
Patty was born in Paterson and grew up in the Hillcrest section, graduating from John F. Kennedy High School with the class of 1976. She took her first job as a clerk for Judge Carmen Ferrante in the Passaic County Court House and enjoyed her career there for 12 years before starting a family. Years later, she became involved in the Wayne Valley School System and worked in the cafeteria. She retired from that position in 2006.
Patty will always have her loving son, Joseph DiPadova IV and his girlfriend Alyssa Rosenberg of Wayne; her devoted mother Theresa Scine of Wayne; her brother Don Scine, wife Leanne Scine and her niece and Goddaughter Derynn Scine of Franklin Lakes; her former husband Joseph DiPadova III and his wife Natasha; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Patty was predeceased by her father, Patrick Scine in 1993.
If friends so wish, donations in Patty's memory to the Abundant Life Worship Center, 103 Jacksonville Road, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035 would be appreciated.
