Rita Arnold

Rita Marie (Borowski) Arnold, 75, of Packanack Lake, Wayne, NJ passed away Thursday April 23, 2020.  She was born August 17, 1944 in Natrona, PA.  Wife of the Late Captain E.R. Arnold (Bud) and Daughter of Late Edward & Irene Borowski.  Rita left Natrona to become a flight attendant at Pan Am Airways.  She traveled around the world and met many amazing people along the way including The Beatles, Hubert Humphrey & Cardinal Spelllman to name a few.  She made many great friends and then met Bud, the love of her life.  Rita & Bud moved out of Queens to raise their family in Packanack Lake.  They were very involved in the community in which they spent their lives.  They were members of the Yacht Club, the Garden Club and enjoyed the beach.  Rita was a very proud mother and grandmother.

Rita is survived by her daughter, Stacy Horner and husband Mark; son Eric (Rick) Arnold and wife Allison;  daughter Susan (Susie) Arnold;  grandchildren Allison, Matthew & Kaitlin Horner and Maggie Beams-Arnold.

She has now been reunited with her husband who came to bring her home after waiting 29 years.  May she feel our love and be at peace.

Due to current unprecedented situations, a memorial will be held at a later date in her honor.  If you like to remember Rita, her family encourages you to purchase flowers and enjoy them in her memory.  Rita also donated to several charities and loved her rescue dog, Toby.
