Friends may visit with the family at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne, on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at 8:30 PM on Monday, during the evening visiting hours at the funeral home.
Theresa Ann O’Dell (nee Sauter), age 59 of Oak Ridge, died suddenly on Thursday, July 5, 2012. She was an R.N. at St. Claire’s Hospital in Dover.
She graduated from Pope John XIII High School, Sparta, with the class of 1970. She worked at American Cyanamid in Wayne before moving to Los Angeles in 1975. She had worked for Southern California Edison in Los Angeles for nearly twenty years before returning to Oak Ridge, NJ in 1995. Theresa was a dedicated nurse at St. Claire’s in Dover and loved her patients. She was always joyful and generous to a fault.
Theresa is survived by her son Sean O’Dell of Oak Ridge, her sister Patricia Ohlendorf and her husband Bruce of East Brunswick, two brothers; James Sauter and his wife Ligia of Oak Ridge, and David Sauter and his wife Judy of Oak Ridge, as well as her dear cousin Marion Doyle of Queens, NY.
