Services
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, August 30, 2007 and Friday, August 31, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne.
Funeral services will be held 10 AM on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at the Grace Presbyterian Church, 981 Preakness Ave., Wayne.
Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
Thomas D. Deppa age 58 of Wayne died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at the University of Medicine and Dentistry Hospital, Newark.
He was born in Salamanca, NY and lived in Olean, NY before moving to Wayne fifty-four years ago.
Thomas was a Sergeant with the Wayne Police Department where he served for the past thirty-one years.
He was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army – Infantry.
Thomas was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church, Wayne.
He is the beloved husband of nineteen years to Wendy (nee VanSaun)Deppa; loving father of Kevin Deppa of Parsippany, Jason, Thomas Jr., Ashleigh, and Amanda Deppa all of Wayne; much loved brother of Donna Connor and her husband Kevin of Coatesville, PA, Patricia Brightly of VA, Nancy Stockton of ND, Debra Ireton and her husband Michael of Wayne and the late Daniel Deppa(1996); much loved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Deppa Family Foundation, c/o Wayne PBA Local 136, PO Box 3597, Wayne, NJ 07470 would be appreciated.
