Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 10 AM at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne.
Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7-9 PM.
William J. DeMarco “Bill” age 61 of Wayne died Monday, September 3, 2007 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with his health. His passing took place with his loving family at his side.
He was born and raised in Paterson and has lived in Wayne for more than twenty years.
Bill received his formal education at Paterson Eastside High School graduating with the Class of 1963. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Seton Hall University and continued on to earn his law degree from Rutgers University Law School.
His law practice focused on Criminal Defense and he was a highly skilled and respected Trial Lawyer primarily in the Passaic and Essex County area.
He also represented many Boards of Education and other administrative boards.
He will be remembered as being passionate about life, work and especially his family.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Paterson.
Ellen and Bill had a "crazy love" for one another for twenty years.
His family is left with many wonderful memories of a very devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family with unconditional love.
His grandchildren whom he loved to pieces called him Pop Pop and Poppy a title that he held dear to his heart.
Surviving are his loving wife Ellen (nee Liman) DeMarco; three daughters Lynda Fabbo and her husband John of West Milford, Felice Nussbaum and her husband David of Livingston and Marisa Fein of San Francisco; two brothers, Tony Maletta and his wife Addie of Rochester, New York and Alex DeMarco of Vandalia,Ohio; four grandchildren Joseph and Louis Fabbo, Nate and Reed Nussbaum.
